2009 TT 3E90 Incorrect Route OX18 Signal 10/07/2017 at 23:39 #96312 | |

Running the 2009 TT in 2009 era, I signalled 3E90 0358 Reading - Moreton-in-Marsh towards Pfm 2 in error instead of its booked Pfm.1. 3E90 came to a stand on the Down Main at OX18 signal and reported an incorrect route had been set. If a train is replatformed the driver would normally take the signal into the alternative platform without question (unless there was a good reason why the train could not call at the new platform), and in most other sims this is the case, so is this a bug in the TT? As an aside, if a train is booked to use the up side of Oxford station, and is routed to the down instead, it will call wrong route - there are places you can't get to from the down side. To be clear, it was a specific decision to make the sim call wrong route if the train is scheduled to use the up platforms because - in the specific case of Oxford at this signal - most real life drivers will query the route.
