I have not been able to read the contents of the shout box for several days
all I see is rows of squiggles.
I did a copy of it and pasted it in here .This what I Got !!

What you are seeing sounds like what I see on my work PC- can't post to Shout either. I'd therefore guess it's a local thing to specific PCs and their set up.

Can't be more help than that- sorry.

Others will know doubt know more about these things.

I've noticed it occasionally on my work PC. Can't remember if it's just 1 PC that does it, if so it may be a font issue (PC hasn't got the required font loaded??)

I have not changed any fonts and was able to see the contents of the shout box until a few days ago

I agree, it stopped being readable on Internet Explorer 6 about a week ago (possibly after Microsoft updates). Still works fine on Firefox and Internet Explorer 8.
