Small bug, perhaps? 24/08/2017 at 10:15 #101226

Hi all,

When testing a new timetable, I ensure all sources of possible delay are disabled, which includes calls from crossings.

I'm getting infrequent calls from Bainton (and only Bainton) with all calls from crossings disabled.

Secondly, and somewhat more complicated see the attached schedule. Please note this happens at other reversals and locations too, this is just an example.

8B34 is routed via the DSL from Fletton and via P4 with a "d" stop to reverse at North DS. If this schedule is adhered to exactly then the "d" stop is recognised and no matter how early the train is, after the appropriate reversal time has passed the train moves off.

However, should the train NOT be routed as per the schedule - say its routed via the DFL and P5 to the north DS, the "d" stop is not recognised and the train won't reverse early. I am aware that they are ways to make it work but they are only work-arounds for this problem.

On occasions too - and the next time it happens I'll append a saved game - the train fails to recognise the reversal at all, and just simply continues on its way if the next northbound signal is showing a proceed aspect. Showing it as a through-line stop doesn't make any difference either.

Has anyone else seen this?

Vince

PS - It may not be a sim related issue, I've seen something similar a long time ago on the Derby sim.
