Hello! I'm currently playing the "Coventry Summer 1988" scenario. Train 1G00 arrived at platform 1. It's going to uncouple the engine, run around and couple to the back. I'm trying to set the shunt signal for the engine (0G00), from signal 24 to the exit button for the shunt route, but I only get the error message: "Call-on route requires section ahead occupied." Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? I don't want to set the main signal; I want to set the shunt signal. This also applies for shunt signal from signal 26, 21 and 51. There's no reason you can't set the main aspect route for the light locomotive. I guess the shunt routes on Coventry require the section ahead occupied. "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Log in to reply |

Interesting. I'm not familiar with the rules in the UK, but here in Norway a "shunt" is not allowed to drive at a main aspect. It can drive at shunt signals only. So I don't have to set the shunt signal for "realism", because a "shunt" (I'm not sure if this is the correct term?) is allowed to drive at main aspect? - Stig Log in to reply |
