Is it in the train's TT to stop at said-halt? It won't stop without it being timetabled.

I had a driver ask for a train to stop and pick him up.
Do I have to alter the timetable, then abandon the timetable and then re-instate it?

Have a look in the Wiki Here https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:ssrun:train_control for instructions on how to amend a timetable using the train list

I tried to edit the timetable to get it to stop at the Halt, but I keep getting an incorrect route set when the train gets to 564. What's the correct edits I need to make?

Thanks.

In real life does any train stop there or is it mostly ECS workings into London dropping someone off or picking someone up before going into Victoria?

If a passenger train calls in, I assume it's anything from the fast line, though the driver would have to be informed in advance though?

Realtimetrains is showing three planned stops there today - all heading to Victoria. One is shown is in the GBTT, the other two only in the WTT. It is showing as Battersea Pier Staff Halt.

To expand on my question, I was was working through the 80's TT when I got a call saying a driver needed to be picked up at the Halt. From reading this thread I understand I have to edit the timetable of a train that is heading towards Victoria on the fast lane for it to stop at the Halt. I did this, however when it got to signal 564 it stopped and said incorrect route set, so I'm trying to figure out exactly what edits I need to make to the timetable to correctly get it to the Halt.

Thanks.

Swiftaw, The halt didn't exist in the 1980's indeed what is now the Battersea Reversible line was purely a Carriage Road. This may sound obvious but can I just check you were running the sim in 1990's mode? Certainly whilst I was building and checking the timetable I never had the call for the staff halt (might have just been luck).

The whole idea of getting a train to call at the staff halt is so that drivers don't have to walk in what is pretty restricted space to get to a train in the sidings at the Battersea Park station end of the reversible line.

You have to get a red before you can get any other colour

Have just had a look at the issue reporting system and this has already been shown as reported and awaiting a new release.

Doing a bit of testing on a timetable I am writing for the period in 2000’s when the box was being modified and all North bound Thameslink trains were turned at Kings Cross and Southbounds turned at Kentish Town. Don’t know if it will be ever finished but it does include the end of the era for slam door VEP and CIG’s on the Southern.
Anyway just testing some of the early hours and had a driver phone in from Battersea Halt at 4:30 in the morning asking for a lift into Victoria Central. I have nothing in the area that would be able to stop there for at least half an hour. Was this problem ever solved with the message appearing as I think a black cab would be an easier option for this poor bloke.

I don't believe there is any penalty or otherwise if you don't pick up a driver.
