Folks, Had a save game under 4.6.4 which worked beautifully, tried loading in 4.6.5 and chaining to another box and not working. Abandoned it and started from scratch - now all going equally wrong. Sims not connecting to each other, randomly disconnecting, things going tits up, people being randomly disconnected etc. Shouldn't be a problem at my end but since the update it's all of this and error messages and even when not chained and just playing as me, a train entering on Manchester North wouldn't divide. Anyone else finding random bugs just crawling out of the woodwork? Log in to reply |

I've just chained the 3 Manchester simulations together; the connections established and I can pass train descriptions between them. I've just tried a test train on MN and no problems with it dividing. "Don't stress/ relax/ let life roll off your backs./ Except for death and paying taxes/ everything in life.../ is only for now." I've just chained the 3 Manchester simulations together; the connections established and I can pass train descriptions between them. 1) The train that wouldn't divide was one on my timetable which is available for download. The reason I do not remember but an error message was given. 2) AURO was on Panel 2 on the WH/VSE chain and noticed whilst glancing across to Barry's Panel 3 that a track circuit was red with no train. For the rest of us, no track circuit occupied! 3) People here and there were being randomly disconnected by the server. There was nothing wrong with my internet and it was working all day as myself. 4) Lots of error messages reported by people with different numbers. 5) WH and VSE regularly unchaining from each other and needing to be re-chained. 6) And I was just about to say another one but I've forgotten. Whoops. Log in to reply |

For the rest of us, no track circuit occupied!Sounds like AURO's internet was running slow and he missed some data. Quote: 4) Lots of error messages reported by people with different numbers. If these were Network Sequence Errors (discussed here: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/47164?postId=103092), it means data was being lost due to a bad internet connection. However it was not occupied because the prior signal cleared (as shown in attached image) without issue and next train passed through. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Nil. So, In relation to my thread and this one.... Is it the host having the issues or the players who are connected? I done a full check of net when I experienced this problem and I didn't have any drop out in connectivity from the moment I turned the PC on that day.
