Any train routed from/to buxton runround sidings from great rocks seem to disappear - is this a problem with the timetable? Didn't have this issue on 1987 TT. Also issues with the runround of 0s00 near the start of TT - loco wants to do its own thing

Delete Topley Pike GF from the timetable (F2-> Right click train->Timetable Options-> Edit timetable) of trains between Great Rocks and Buxton.

Reverses into Peak CEMEX site from the mainline seem to be wrong. Reverse points sent it to GR18 instead of reversing at PF28. Train 6M15 is an example. Also trains dropping out of sim entering at Tunstead Sidings before reaching GR26

In addition no route can be set from NMS24 to NM3 as per train 5S05 so cannot reverse at New Mills South Jct from Hazel Grove direction.

0H59 also cannot reverse at PF45 - I suspect more of these are due to stopping point rules as lengths look fine.

Running this TT with the latest version, 6M97 arrives at Buxton Refuge foul of the line into Buxton Station. It's either too long or booked to stop in the wrong position in the arrival road.

I regret to say, this TT is not running at all well.
In TCB.
Tunstead shunter asks for 6H36 to enter, right time. It doesn't appear. No crew appear for a crew change. Tunstead shunter then asks authority for 0L83 to enter, again right time. It does so and runs through the sim.
Tunstead shunter asks for 6L44 to enter, right time. It doesn't appear. No crew appear for a crew change.
Meanwhile 6L73 arrives in the Long Sidings, early. 0S00 runs round and then has to be manually reversed at PF45 and fails to couple to its train.
I'd attach a save if I could remember how!

I get the same with 4M41. I suspect they should have stopping points specified in the TT. Something like NX+21.

I successfully ran 1 train round which had a length less than 386m (length of 4m41)

On a side not the manual says the length of the the arrival road is 410m, so there must be some special instructions needed for 6m97 who is 412m long, so even if he pulled right up to the furthest point in the arrival siding, the math says hes still too long, even before they then try and attach the engine to the other end.

There is two services that are missing on this timetable which started around March/April 2017 depending on when this timetable was for?,
FL 66 + 20 MWA's - 350m, I have video evidence it has ran from when I did a my 'nightowl' filming sessions and I would think these should be included the timings haven't changed much since the timetable change in December so I've linked today's timings below.

6C54 2216 Tunstead Sidings to Hardendale Quarry

2H04 appear to have an incorrect Sim entry time.
The TT lists him as entering Edgeley Junction at 0814. Her proceeds a few minutes before stopping at Davenport at approx 0816, befroe waiting for his timetabled time of 0844. Only noticed as 5N22 (who enters at 0814H) gets held at an off screen Red.
My instant guess would be that there has been a slip of the fingers in inputting his entry time and that he should be entering at 0841 (similar 2Hs suggest that its a 2 min trip from entry at Edgeley Jn to Davenport)

A TT save of 0813 is available if needed in this thread

Moved up to 1000. 6J46 has an incorrect divide engine command with the engine for the run around (0S02) dividing from the rear (DER) rather than the front (DEF)

1100ish.
6H22 enters at Tunstead Sidings being propelled to Great Rock, to then make a move along the single line to Buxton. The current reversing location of Great Rocks Jn has the train reverse on the line between Tunstead Sidings and the Junction before it passes the junction, so is unable to access the single line to Buxton.

2S27 terminates at New Mills Central on the up platform (at 1046), and while he awaits his next working at 1130, 2S22 require a route through the up platform at 1115ish. Suggests to me that there should be a ECS move into the siding to allow 2S22 to pass 2S27.

1300ish, 2S35 and 2S30 have the same conflict at New Mills Central Up Platform

1500ish, 2S43 and 2S38 have the same conflict at New Mills Central Up Platform

Running 1987 tt beginner perfect conditions and latest loader. Found a few issues to confirm some already reported.
0H59 and 4m41 gr steetley same time to enter steetly.
Various 6X trains enter tunstead sidings phone for permission which is granted but they never enter sim. Soon after 0 series enters no problem same location.
3s50 engeineering train at chinley cannot reverse on shunt signals to end up going to edgeley jcn. I tried editing tt to put the locations in which exist as chinley rev (but no signal named). Does not validate.
2s08 at 07.21 at new mills turnaround shows new headcode of 2s13 on screen but still 2s08 in F2 list and waiting at NM16 up siganl. Had to manually reverse it across the track route . Same 2s12 chaning to 2s117, same problem.
Weird wonderful one now is 5n22 (08.14) stopped off sim at red signal EY1_28 No trains in front etc told it to examine line and proceed. 1b68 (08.29) entered and overwrote the td same position red signal and says same thing stopped at etc. Meanwhile 5n22 finally enters sim late having examined line. It turns around at hazel grove to go back edgeley jcn. 1l06 (0855) now also stuck behind same signal. All now enter late having been told examine line and proceed. They ring to confirm no obstruction.
0h59 enters ss to peak sb 07.21 to great rocks jcn 07.26 to 07.27 then on to steeley gf, but 4m41 is crew change change at peak sb then onto great rocks at exactly same time as 0h59 is at great rocks. Both going briggs steeley gf.

Hope this helps with solving some problems. Hopefully attaching saves for you.
Good sim.

Now got through to the end of the time table.

There are multiple trains at the end of the timetable that are routed to terminate in P1 at Buxton, but there is no direct route. Some are able to work being routed into P2, but 5B16 for example is due to terminate and berth in P1, doing so in P2 will clog up Buxton station and not let further trains terminate at the station before they head back. Possibly some missing shunt moves that the signaler did on the fly, easy for an experienced SimSigger, something others may not be aware/able of how to do them.
Also at Buxton, 2B12 arrive into P2 at 1850, and leaves as 2H03 at 1929, but 2B94 is scheduled to arrive in P2 at 1923, and shunts out at 1934 to the MS. Feel there should be a shunt move for the 2B12/2H03 train to move over to P1 (empty since there is no direct route into the platform).

Another New Mills clash of 2S54/2S41 and 2S56 occured where 2S54/2S41 should have had a shunt move into the siding to allow 2S56 a route through.

5H50 has a reversing location stated of Chinley North Jn, having come from and going back to New Mills South Jn. The stopping point for Chinley North Jn being before the junction. Changing the TT to be Chinley North Jn (Rev) gives no route found between New Mills South Jn and Chinley North Jn (Rev), Route will validate with additional timing points of Chinley being put in each side of the reversing location.

There seemed to be some missing rules nearer to the end of the TT.
6M09 and 6E25 are set to leave Briggs at the exact same time (2324) and both run in the same path up to Buxton Run Around (where they both 'terminate' due to end of the TT).
6E96 and 0E53. They don't enter Briggs at the same time as 6e96 has a RR to do, but they are both timed (give or take 1 minute) to run over the Buxton to Great Rock single line in the same path.
There were 2 copies of 3S50 entering and exiting at Edgeley Juntion in the same path, both running up to Buxton and return. These could have simple been accidentally duplicated, however the trains have different UID numbers (ZFB437 and ZBF372)

And finally 6M97/H15734 appears to need a stopping position of N or NX added to its reverse at PF45 since despite PF 19 being off, he reversed at PF45 long before the rear of his train was clear of the signal. I can't remember if I had issues with any other trains going into the Peak Forest South S.S. or if they all went in fine,

As an end note, it just feels to me that the TT hasn't been run through in full after being written, as a fair number of things I've reported in this thread, I feel could have been picked up on had the TT been tested before release. I don't wish to make a deal out of this, and hope that what I've reported can be used to produce an update to the TT to allow others, esp players who are less experienced in how to work manual shunts and correct stopping locations etc, an easier run through the TT. I can not say that I have picked up everything that was an issue in the TT since there were times that I have just made the fix myself and not made notes, but I hope to have picked a considerable volume up. In case people are wondering, being the first time I've played the sim, I was running with no failures and no delays to get used to the sim operation. There is always some delays caused by myself but anything that I have flagged, I've gone back and looked at the timetable itself to see whether it was human operation, or TT.

3S50 0419 Crewe - Wigan RHTT, when it reappears at Marple Wharf at 0612 it is shown to reverse at Chinley North Jn but actually reverses just after passing New Mills South Jn. I had to abandon its TT, reverse it and run it to Chinley where I reversed it again om the North - South curve behind CY153 Sig, then reinstate the TT showing next locn New Mills South Jn.

When I edited TT to stopping position 'FX', it fitted the Arrival Road (thank goodness!)
However, its loco join still fouled the pointwork to station throat, requiring authority to enter single-line section to Briggs - except I couldn't reverse the catch-points, so a propel was required to the headshunt.

3S50 would be better reversing at Chinley South Jn, as there's no reversing move at North Jn.

Thanks
