Hi, Whilst playing on the latest version I was unlucky enough to get a section failure at Philips Park West (TCPW) which really spoiled my day :) I tried to get round it by working the junction wrong-way (812/826 to 1608 and then 1608 to 808). The 1608-808 working IS allowed but there doesn't seem to be a way to set TO 1608. Is 1608 there only for reversing from blockage at 813? Or would you be allowed to work PPW in reverse in real life? From memory, 1606 & 1608 were provided solely to reverse DMUs at Miles Platting (out of Victoria to MP, then back to Victoria), so no routes to them from other signals.

As there are no subsidiary aspects available on 812 or 826, no routes are available up to 1608. In real life you would simply talk through the failed track circuit.

Thanks, both, for the replies! It's quite a long way from Victoria to 1608, so I bet it never got used very much. Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |
