4Q70 0106 Rugby - Derby RTC Ultrasonic Test Unit (UTU) testing the Down Slow Attleborough Jn - Lichfield North Jn, reverses then tests the Up Slow Lichfield North Jn to Rugby, is running at 75mph but UTU's are max speed 30mph when testing. Also, it is shown to reverse at LS3521 on the Down Fast, but in reality reverses behind LS1310 GPL on the Down Slow. The reason for this is that the Down Slow Lichfield - Crewe is Normally tested the following night on a move from Derby that accesses the Down Slow at Lichfield North. If 4Q70 from Rugby were to cross to the Down Fast to reverse after testing the Down Slow the section of the Down Slow from LS5515 to LS1310 would be missed. Regards, Phil. Log in to reply |

Bumping my own thread, in addition to capturing recording of a portion of the Down Slow that would otherwise be missed, changing ends behind LS1310 GPL Sig on the Down Slow negates the need for the driver to take a line blockage to protect himself while doing so, which is required if changing ends on the Down Fast. When recording the Down Slow from Attleborough Jn and the Down Fast from Rugby to Lichfield we routinely reverse on the Down Slow behind LS1310, but unfortunately while attempting to edit 4Q70's TT to reflect what we do in reality the TT doesn't recognise a path from Amington Jn to LS1310. Would it be possible in any future sim update to create a reversal point at, and valid path to LS5519 Sig on the Down Slow, similar to that which exists at the adjacent Down Fast signal LS3521? If you press the next button after selecting the sim then it will take you through the options of selecting a TT and any other user definable sim options (including the server options) Log in to reply |

If you go to the location where SimSig has been installed to, something like C:\Users\Public\Documents\SimSig if you installed to the default location, click on timetables. Is there a 'rugbynorth' folder in that list and if so, does it contain anything inside of it?

Afternoon all I've solved it. I completely ripped SimSig out and reinstalled. Everything works a lot better now and i've got the timetables. Thanks for all the assistance. Log in to reply |
