Pretty sure this is a bug: as 1P53 passes signal 708, signal 716 flashes double yellow then back to yellow again, giving an ACOA to 1A06 which is following close behind 1P53, without any signals being cancelled.

Signal 712 has Approach Locking causing it to clear for a split second then reverting back to red. A closely following train will see signal 716 go to double yellow then back to a single yellow giving that train an ACOA.

Referred it to Mantis 19843.

What's causing your problem here is that there is a condition applied to signal 712. For 712 to show proceed, next signal 708 must have a route set from it. Otherwise 712 is 'approach controlled from red' (not approach locking that's a different thing). It's designed to provide double-red protection when trains are crossing through the junction.

When a train passes 708 and clears that first track circuit, it takes a split second for the route at 708 to drop. In that time, 712 shows a caution and then reverts back to red which causes your ACOA at the automatic signals in rear of it.

You'll find it happens for almost every train but it's so quick you don't notice until ACOA.

This was raised a couple of years ago in this thread:

- A workaround for you: don't use the A button on 712.

Memory loss!
Could a Mod move these Threads into the original Topic?

TIA
