In ‘real life’ Waterloo East and London Bridge have dispensations to allow Up services to depart early. The service is every few minutes to the same destination, so it provides much more reliability. Is this something that can be replicated on SimSig? Log in to reply |

According to the manual, this is already implemented at Waterloo East: London Bridge Wiki said: Up trains will leave Waterloo East as soon as they have completed platform duties, per real life. The density of services means it is important to get the trains away as quick as possible - and passengers don’t really care which train they are boarding for one stop. Would it also have been true for the Blackfriars bound Thameslink trains at the time? You wouldn't want them getting to the core early and distinguishing between them in the sim code might be more complex than warranted.

It was always a case that we had to hold early running Thameslinks outside on L122 for time. But majority of the time, Thameslinks arrived a few minutes late Northbound, either because of late runing on the Central, or the Signalmen trying to slot the train over from the Central Side during peak times amongst Central and Eastern peak trains.
