Loss of power no longer working since Loader 4.7 in Wolverhampton 08/06/2018 at 18:30 #108507 | |

Since the Loader update, I still get messages every now and then of a train 'running X late with a loss of power' as expected in a scenario with failures. But when the train enters, it doesn't report the loss of power in the F7 log and does not actually seem to have a loss of power. In Cowlairs on the other hand, it is still working fine with the current loader, so this seems specific to Wolverhampton. AJP in games Log in to reply |

It's extremely unlikely that this is a Wolverhampton specific issue. No, it is not a pre-4.7 save. I started a new game after installing 4.7 and then it started. I have confirmed this by loading old saves of the game, they do not produce a version mismatch warning and their dates post-date the file date of SimSigLoader.exe. The oldest save of the game is dated 10 May; the loader is dated 9 May. Looking back at saves of the game, it turns out to be even weirder. Three trains in the morning (6K02, 1F34, and 2W14) did run with a loss of power, but after 10am none did. I have attached a saved game so you can reproduce it. 1J15 has been announced to run with a loss of power, but when it actually enters (around 12:46 sim time) it runs normally. Post has attachments.
