Not sure if this save is already too late or not, but it shows ARS attempting to set a wrong route for 5V62 if you remove the reminder on signal 271.
It is helpful to see it but it is too late unfortunately. The data shows it trying to route up to signal 271 but not how it got into that state. If you make that train ARS again it correctly routes to 361. So something must have happened earlier to it.

I tried an earlier snapshot from 07:30, when 5V62 hadn't even been formed yet from its inbound service (2A12), but unfortunately this didn't reproduce the situation.

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

I wonder whether this problem predominantly happens after reloading a saved sim?
For example yesterday during the original playthrough, where the sim had been runnning continuously for several hours sim time, nothing strange happened. After reloading from a snapshot however, ARS proceeded to set a wrong route and after cancelling it, I got a message that a train that had already terminated at London Bridge had been made non-ARS because of the cancelled route.

E.g. if you load the attached snapshot and let the sim run for a minute or two, once 2N38 departs South Bermondsey ARS sets a wrong route for it from the Up South London to the Up Main. If you cancel that route again, the TD for 5J73 (which at the start of the saved sim has already terminated and formed 2J73) in platform 12 at London Bridge is then made non-ARS.

How can I run the updated TT on a continuing sim? Surely I have to go back and start again.

Correct. However the updated TT won't fix your issue with ARS at Parks Bridge Jn as that is a sim problem not a TT problem.

You can grab the bottom-right of the window, just like most other Windows windows, and drag to your preferred size.

It's not fitting the sim to the screen, it's fitting the whole sim into the window without having to scroll.

You can try increasing your screen resolution, if you aren't at max already, or using multiple monitors. However, on a number of simulations, scrolling is inevitable.
