Is this the correct route? 25/08/2018 at 22:41 #111495

Oh dear. Yet another query.

Playing the Peterborough 2017 Austerity sim and I have 1Z63 in platform 4 and as far as I can see I have routed it to Peterborough Yard. However, I have been told that the route is incorrect. If this is the case, what is the correct route?
This all seems very odd to me, as I have set this very same route many times before.

What do other people think? Suggestions welcome.

Is it challenging the route itself, or is it challenging you sending a passenger train onto a goods line? If the latter, just tell it to accept the route. The TT should be set up to allow 1Z63 onto a goods line though.

It's challenging the route, saying that it's incorrect.

I've done what you suggested and ticked the box to allow it to use goods lines and it's moved off to the Yard now.

Thanks

A save game would be much more helpful.

Saved game attached.

Just as a matter of interest, I've had exactly the same happen to 3P03, a Class 387, which is also destined for the Yard from platform 4.

So the exact message from 1Z63 is "Driver of 1Z63 has an incorrect route set at signal 449 (Peterborough area): not allowed on goods lines", he's calling wrong route as he isn't allowed onto a goods line.

Right. Got that.
So the correct response then, is as Steamer said and is what I subsequently did?
