Here I am publishing my (more) printable versions of the manual and signal map for the 1980s era. All the source information was from the wiki here at SimSig produced in a printing friendly manner as PDFs. Credits to Steamer and postal for their work in the signal maps and manual respectively and most important to TomOF for his amazing work over the last 10 or so years producing the Carlisle sim we are all so fond of.

Due to the size I am unable to attach the PDFs directly. Henceforth the PDFs will be linked to instead and hosted on Google servers.

Lest anyone thinks I am trying to take credit for work that is not mine, I should point out that not only did Tom create the sim, he also wrote the manual.

Below is the correspondence between the OP and myself yesterday:

"Hi postal, As you understand I am making a quick reference guide for Carlisle 1980 sim using the manual. I have already contacted Tom who is fine for it to be used mentioning that he cant control the changes that go on in the manual. As you are the most recent and main edittor of the manual i am asking for your permission to use the manual aswell. I am talking to steamer in PM regarding signal map. My intentions was the credits in the post that contained the pdf of the split up map, with not including that in the help thread as it was already established on that page and would be used for troubleshooting the runtime error.
Kind Regards
Sam"

to which I replied:

"The Wiki is open source and you can do what you like with it. My contribution has been a couple of minor edits to the latest version to clarify some text."

The quick reference guide has been cancelled due to request regarding the conflicts between the guide and the manual in the wiki if either was updated.

Due to the popularity of my printable version of the signal map, I will be adding it permanently into the wiki for the sim. This will help preserve the presence instead of getting hidden by other posts.
