I have logged on Mantis as #34210. Even running round at Panteg vice ADJ, it still needs a path to get there. Log in to reply |

jc92 in post 140697 said:That train never normallu ran to ADJ apparently. Instead it ran round at Panteg, having stopped at Pontypool to collect a travelling shunter. That changed while I was at Little Mill Jn. We thought that it was pointless sending the train to AD to just run round. The shunter got on at Ponty as before but we did the run-round at Panteg to save time. Kev Log in to reply |

Thanks for the help guys and looking into it. It would make sense for it to run round at Panteg, but looking at the layout with the LOS ground signals all around, I can't picture where it would run round, unless the layout was slightly different back then? I'm working on the bits I can do easily at the moment, I'll keep you guys updated if I get stuck. Many Thanks, Trainzy Log in to reply |

Back onto the train (LM106 to LM108). The train then propels out of the south end of the loop, behind LM351, and then crosses over to the Up Hereford via LM353. Kev Log in to reply |

Hi, Book PF12 has a number of reversing moves in and out of Moreton-on-Lugg FHH (6V53, 6M52 etc) but I can't get this to work. For trains to propel into MoL sidings, setting Moreton-on-Lugg as reverse points stops the train in rear on ML42. For trains exiting they stop over points 19A and then will try to head back into the sidings. I cannot get a path from either Leominster or Moreton-in-Lugg to shunting disc(?) ML19. I think what you're asking for is a path from Moreton On Lugg to ML19 reverse? If so Mantis 36242

Hi, When the user at Pantyffynnon LC requests the release PF37, if you grant it before acknowledging and hanging up the release remains flashing seemingly indefinitely. I needed to replace and re-release PF37 in order for the GF "king" to be taken immediately. Might be worth a note in the manual depending on if the code has to check the conditions in a specific order? Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Thanks I'll have a check and see if I need to add to the manual.

Thanks for fixing 36242. It's now allowing reversals at Moreton-on-Lugg to be scheduled. One minor niggle, is that even with position Near-end at ML19 (rev), trains are stopping short of ML39 on the Down Main, then call for authority to shunt forward or propel as they are out of sight of the GPL. Although this does mean they don't foul the level crossing...! Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

It’ll be a slight limitation of SimSig. In reality it’s likely the crossover won’t be locked by the track circuit as it’s trailing, allowing the train to stop immediately behind the signal and still on the crossing. This isn’t possible in SimSig. The default behaviour if a signal is on a different track circuit to the train that’s just reversed is to phone for permission to approach it. This is overridable by the Developer however in this instance I would argue it’s undesirable to do so as you could raise the barriers once the train cleared it and the train would then reverse through an open crossing to the signal. The call gives the operator a chance to check the crossing is down. Log in to reply |

Could've sworn I'd seen a report already, but can't find it. Pre-slotting from Ledbury causes ACoA at L39 when a train appears to run on the Down Worcester. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |
