Tomorrow (Wednesday) I'm finally going into hospital for my hernia operation. When I am released, probably at the end of the week, it's going to take me a while to recover. If I feel up to it I'll carry on with my testing and occasional hosts, but if not I might be offline for a few weeks.

Yes, good wishes Kev. Driving a 'puter becomes possible an awful lot quicker than most other things though, so hopefully you'll be back before the boredom gets to you.

I've rcv'd another message from Kev this morning telling me that the surgeon is pleased with the way the op has gone & is allowing him back home this afternoon. So he could be back sooner than he thought.
