Ensure you've clicked both ends of the points to return them to the Normal position, you should be able to right click the roundel then.

There doesn't appear to be a valid path for a train stopping at Denton.

On using dentin stn jcn > Denton > Denton junction, a no valid path message is received.

Not a bug, more a request. Can a list of clearing points be added to the manual. In some cases I am able to give OOS but not accept another train, mainly around EY1 and 2. This seems strange as OOS shouldn't be given until the clearing point is clear to accept another train
If you can log for me the blocks that this is occouring on, I can get it fixed. Geneally speaking, the cleaing point should be the fist ovelap marker past the signal. The same point that you can accept another train.

James
I've gone back over this with the benefit of sleep and the only one that doesn't make sense (the others can have points swung to give OOS and reaccept) is the down slow between EY1 and 2. OOS is given once the train has passed the signal but another can't be accepted until it has cleared the full clearing point up to Stockport 1's home.

Here's one - trains signalled from down slow at Edgeley 2 into the Down Goods at Stockport don't receive any form of approach control, you get brought down in the normal sequence to a danger aspect at ST2-A. I thought it was the case and then it happened to me twice last night to confirm.

I would assume this applies to the Down Main as well, as they are all 15mph routes from the junction.

There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Trains booked to stop at Denton Station fail to stop and proceed on with the stop still shown on their timetable.

Thanks.

I've also noticed trains losing around 5-6 minutes on the down between Ash Bridge and Denton stn jcn. Every OK on the up direction. I've checked my timings against current timings and the match so I wonder if a TC somewhere is longer than it should be?

Another one. I'm trying to run round a train at Stockport on the DG. Train enters from the south. The loco uncouoles from the south end and round round onto the viaduct but st2-87 refuses to clear as the subroute is still locked in the opposite direction (running without AB working)

To work round this I talked the loco past st2-88 however it then sits at st2-87 and refuses to budge if authorised past on the Train list but also never rings up for permission

I've fixed the following issues for the next update, should be in a day or so (Or at worst, very early 2019).

Stockport No.1 to Edgeley No.2 Fast will now report fast, not slow
Reversal points have been added for Heaton Norris Engine siding. also included is another couple places in this area its possible to reverse at
Stockport Goods line not allowing a shunt move from the opposite direction
The line between Ash Bridge to Denton Jn have had the 5MPH TSR removed, so now insted of doing 650m of 5mph, it will be 55mph like it is going other direction (Oops)

Did this get missed or is it just a slightly bigger fix?

I did look at the time, but must have forgot to reply back. I don't have any data to suggest that this route is approach controlled. All routes from ST1-106 are 15mph (Goods, Main and Slow)

The sim provides approach control though I’m sure - I was using it in non-AB mode.

Having a Track Section Failure on the Up Fast at Heaton Norris, I tried interposing BLOK on the entry berth on the Up Fast and collaring the first signal. Virtual signaller at Manchester Piccadilly ignored both and still sent trains on the Up Fast rather than the Up Slow. Is it intended to add this functionality?

For info I have AB switched off.

Great sim!

I've added this for the next update.I will look into addding this on the South Fringe, but due to its nature, this may be more difficult.

==== EDIT ====
In the public release, if you interpose BLOK at either signal EY1-48 or EY1-49, this will force trains to approach on the other adjacent line. Please note that this MUST be BLOK for the off sim routing to reconsie this

Just noticed this one...

In the messages window, when a train passes Cheadle Village Junction in the Down Direction, I get a message with exactly the same time saying that the train has passed Sharston Junction, e.g.

18:01:40 2D43 passed Cheadle Village Jn on time
18:01:40 2D43 passed Sharston Jn 1 min(s) early

Is Sharston Jn the start of the double line on the approaches to Northenden Jn? My copy of Trackmaps seems to show it as being essentially the same as Northenden Jn, but I think this might be an error.

Edit: can confirm the same thing happens in the Up Direction.

Chris

Looks like I got Sharston Junction and Cheadle Village Junction mixed up at some point
