Now that's a tease Pascal. If you're including all the trips in that 40:1 ratio, with all the coal traffic still around at that time it could be either Doncaster or possibly the Calder Valley (more specifically Healey Mills). Tomorrow is going to be like waking up on Christmas morning :-)

Karl (Headshot119) did post in the meet thread that "at least one new sim will be previewed" so yes we are likely to receive word on more than one new sim. As I'm an East Midlands lad, top of my personal wishlist is Leicester followed closely by Merseyrail's Sandhills (nothing to do with East Mids I know)), but I'll be happy with any of the sims mentioned by other posters.

As far as Sheffield PSB goes, to the best of my knowledge it was a straight recontrol from the old PSB to York ROC, meaning nothing will have changed on the ground. Regarding Sheffield in Simsig, I believe that is just a conversion of the old PSB paged sim to a scrolly version.

Correct Phil nothing changed other than the reduction from 5 panels to 3 and the connections in relation to the tram train.

Regarding the sim, it's clearly going to be Ferrybridge power station control room. 40 MGR workings and one misrouted HST that accepts the route and works round the loop.

Err indeed. AFAIK it's my timetable for the sim which is being preview2ed. If you prefer freight t passenger working then you'll be in heaven & certainly a case of come back BR all is forgiven. I'm not going to say whether you are correct or not & what I said earlier is the only clue I'll give.

It went to 2 work stations in York ROC - Sheffield & Rotherham

I wonder that as a new signal map has been updated in a manual but the link currently is broken if this is one of the sims that will be showcased tomorrow.... Of course there's always the risk that my sums are wrong....

It was announced that two of the three sims at the meet will be released very very soon as payware sims, they are West Yorkshire and Sheffield - the third one was Sandhills sadly there is no release date available for it but all three sims looks pretty good!

Sandhills and Sheffield has ARS however there is none for West Yorkshire that aside both Sheffield and West Yorkshire ought mean some awesome chaining sessions!

All I need to know is when Staffordshire sim going to be released... not that I'm been impatience or anything but then again it does sound like it..

I'm guessing Sheffield is similar to the old Sheffield sim that Kurt made (if memory serves me well?), or is this the new ROC layout?

And as for West Yorks... where would that cover?

No idea on Staffordshire as there was no mention of it at the meet but like you I am looking very much to the release of the two sims.

I'm more keener to see Preston just so I can signal trains along the East Lancs :P
