Can I ask a word of help please? I'm relatively new to SimSig but have been playing the 11/10/14 (East Coast diversions) timetable for Carlisle. I've got as far as 0830 but apart from the two southbounds present at Gretna Junction when the simulation opens at midnight no other services have entered from Lockerbie. I'm using the '2000s' layout. Services are entering from all other routes as expected and everything else seems normal.

Am I doing something wrong here? Has anyone else had this problem? Many thanks for any help.

Assuming you mean this timetable https://www.SimSig.co.uk/File/Details/772 it hasn't been updated to be compatible with the loader edition of Carlisle.

Out of curiosity, as someone whose not technically inept and has poked around in the timetables I've played and even aborted making one a while ago (figuring the one I chose to make would basically replicate existing ones for no reason) how much labour goes into updating a TT for loader versions or an old TT made for a loader sim that hasn't been updated since many new loader features arrived?

Obviously that answer could be quite involved so if anyone knows a thread around here that already explains some of it I'd appreciate a link.

Depends on the simulation. For some there's no change and it'll still run.

In the case of Carlisle the fringe at Annan was extended back to Dumfries and the Lockerbie fringe was revised as well which requires rewrites to every train involved.

Also there's extra functionality available on the loader like adding dwell times, crew changes, UIDs, amending rules for decisions. These won't invalidate a timetable if not added but do massively improve it.

All my Carlisle ones took around a day or two to move it from the old TT to the new WTT on loader. It's just having the info to hand which can help.
