If it detached from a train in the reception line, you need to untick 7/8/9 in the ground frame (the route to/from sidings 2-4) and tick box 3 instead (the 'signal' at the north end of the reception line) to give a handsignal to the driver to move up to the yellow signal.

The signal IDs in F2 don't match with the ones on the ground frame. But given MF1 is not one of the controlled signals, I'm pretty sure that driver is waiting for a handsignal.

Yes. 0G01 detached from 6G01 in the Reception siding. I thought that a hand-signal was required but didn't know which one and tried several but not No.3 I also didn't realise that the loop was the same as the reception siding. I've made a note in my timetable notes document, but as I read it I noticed that I've had this problem before and Just told the driver to PSAD - the easy option is what I'd call this.

Anyway, I've gone back to an earlier save and I'll do as you have said.

Thanks again

Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate.

The numbers are on the signal diagram on the ground frame. Note that the ID of one of the exit signals is wrong, M691 in place of "703" (which is actually at the exit of Milford West Sidings.)

The run-round loop indeed shares a TT location with the reception siding. Both are 'one way only': trains in the down direction use the reception siding, trains in the up direction the run-round loop. Signal M5241 is clear if points 1 on the frame are normal.

(You could run round via the Down Normanton but then you need to step up the TT past the sidings.)
