Just came across this, is this a bug? I know there is particular rules regarding this signal with its unusual protection, in the case in the pictures below CD1268 only cleared from red to green once the train ahead clears WK1262 signal. If there was no train there it would clear to a proceed aspect immediately.

I think the manual text might be slightly wrong in this case, it currently states:
Quote:
Unusual signal protection
If the route is set from CD986 to CD1268, then CD1268 will not show a proceed aspect until either the berth track circuit is occupied OR the route is set from Wk1266 & WK1264 signals.

But the control is applied when a route is set from CD982 rather than CD986.

That is correct. It's all tied in with the lie of the points, signal and section ahead

It looks like if WK1264 is at red, CD1268 will remain at red, despite WK1266 showing Y. Is this correct?

Here's a little tip that you may find useful.
If you attach a picture, make sure that there are no spaces between any of the words.
For example, in your attachments, adding an underscore or hyphon should result in your pictures being visible in your post. (i.e. SimSig_problem_2.docx)
It works virtually every time for me.

As a .docx is a word document, it's not going to be displayed in a post anyway.

Good point.
Something else that I didn't know.
I always take a screenshot as do a lot of other people.
Perhaps that's something Carl_ could do if he feels inclined? Depends how easy it would be for him though.
