I've just been playing a game, and have noticed it's possible to get into a Mexican Standoff situation at Knottingley Sidings quite easily. Since you don't phone for permission and they don't phone you for permission, and since it seems that once a train presents itself at the sidings you cannot set a route into the sidings, it's possible to be reversing a train at Knottingley West Jn to enter the sidings and suddenly have a train present at the sidings heading towards Pontefract Monkhill, at which point you're stuffed.
