Hi all!

I have purchased a license for the Westbury Sim, but for some reason it is not showing in any of the download lists. This means that I cannot download the files to work with the license. I thought it was me being silly (been a long Monday), but I have also tried the license manager and cannot get it to work from there either.
What happens is I go into the loader, and then try to start a new simulation - but there aren't any simulations showing? I'm not sure if the File Paths have anything to do with this - however as far as I am concerned I only have the System Files and not the files that make the Westbury Sim work (as I cannot access them on the website/cannot find them). I have however purchased a license for the file and tried allocating it multiple times..

Any help on where to start is much appreciated.
Many thanks, Matt.

You need to press Check for Updates, on the main screen of the loader to download the simulations.

Have you clicked the "Check for Updatres" button? This should bring all of the sim files down fo you.

Hi!

Thank you very much! I am now up and running! Diagram just seems a little out of date in terms of software updates compared to some of the others. However, it works - which will do amply!

Much appreciated,
Matt.

Hello!

Thank you very much for your assistance. It is working, just the simulated digital diagram seems to be of a slightly older version than the ones currently used (such as those shown to be in Edinburgh in the welcome pictures, or in TVSC).

Either way, I am grateful for your assistance. If you know how I could achieve the above then that would be even better!
Many thanks,
Matt.

Hi, Westbury is an older simulation created before the loader program existed, which was subsequently upgraded to be able to be launched from the loader. The graphics are the original ones and can't be brought to the newer standard unless someone creates a wholly new simulation of the Westbury area.

You will be fine with it as it is I am sure

The graphics on Westbury are the same as all the other simulations, barring any sim-specific features or quirks. I'm not really sure what the question/problem is?

I think the poster may be referring to the newer style graphics as found on new IECC “scalable” installations.

See photo here from the Thames Valley Signalling Centre: https://photos.signalling.org/picture?/23582/category/2582-stoke_gifford_ws

If that is indeed what is being referred to then no, the SimSig display is based on IECC Classic
