Hi folks, I am a long time user of SimSig, and can happily run some of the larger simulations such as Leeds and York, whilst i'd consider a simulation such as Kings Cross my limit. I am tempted to purchase Manchester Picc, but have seen it is recommended for six players! Is it possible to solo play MP? I have seen suggestions of slowing time down or pausing which are good, but it's always nice to get everything working in real time! Thanks Log in to reply |

I like Manchester East in rush hour, single player. If you add some delays and failures it keeps you busy all the time while still manageable at normal speed.

I can manage Piccadilly as a Solo player, albeit only with low failure rates and by using 'normal' speed through the peak periods (and the occasional use of pause!). At the same time, I have a benefit as I'm based at Piccadilly and am familiar with the reporting numbers and locations used - though it doesn't stop me trying to send the occasional Atherton service via Bolton or vice-versa! Without speaking for your level of experience, if you are fine running Leeds you should be OK with Piccadilly (I'm comfortable with both) - but bear in mind that Piccadilly has no ARS to assist! There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: 2W34 |

The default TT includes a 14:00 start, so you can start that in demo mode to see how you cope with a normal amount of traffic in the simulation before purchasing. There's also a Sunday timetable available to download which is a bit quieter than the weekday TT.
