These might have been raised in the past.. It would be great to eventually see the Great Eastern ML continued on from Liverpool St (as far as Colchester at least). As well as London Paddington to Reading/Heathrow filled in on the Great Western (with a possibility of Crossrail added). Not sure how readily available the data is available, maybe that's why it hasn't been done yet? I know Stratford and Old Oak are quite big areas to diagram....Just some food for thought! 'Thank you' if you would like to see these simulated.... Knowing our luck, the sims ARE in development but it depends on how far along they are in terms of development and if they ever get to be released. I think that’s a pretty good assumption to make and fair. I wouldn’t mind seeing the GEML simulated as far as Colchester but what about the various branches? Log in to reply |

I don't want to spoil your day, but I think I've been involved in testing reading 15 years ago already if it was not earlyer. Some sims take awhile to mature, so I wouldn't hold my breath

This is one of the sims that I have been awaiting eagerly, along with Doncaster, especially. Hoping that my time left on this earth is sufficient to see at least one of them! I don't recall Broad Street being in the NLL sim. Isn't there a conflict of interest somewhere about a Paddington sim? Log in to reply |

NLL has a branch to Reading Lane Jn at Dalston Kingsland, and you can use that (I believe some TTs do) to simulate traffic from/to Broad St. No actual station is included as it is a fringe with West Anglia.

York/Leeds for instance were conflict of interest however Geoff did York and other developers did Leeds. In short. Never say never. It might be better if they were done as three separate sims though: - Norwich - Ipswich - Colchester Norwich and Ipswich are panels but Colchester ASC (Thorpe-le-Soken, Colchester and East Gate desks) are VDU setups. I don't know if there would be a means of chaining them together. Pictures of Colchester ASC's setup can be found at https://photos.signalling.org/index?/category/315-signal_box Also, if Norwich was done, an update to Cambridge would be an idea which could include the Breckland (Ely - Norwich) line, via. Shippea Hill: I believe that route is now controlled from Cambridge as a VDU workstation. Such an update would permit a reasonable-size chain. I don't know if Norwich, Ipswich and Colchester (if done as above) would be chainable though.
