Hi all, Just playing around - for my own entertainment, nothing else - with the 2019 supplied timetable for Sheffield ROC. I've come across this, something I've not seen before and I've dissected and created a lot of timetables. In the attached picture there appears two "next trains" off 2P92. Now since 2P92 is formed 1x153 then it is not a detachment, but just what is it? An error perhaps or something new - anyone help? Vince PS - Analysis doesn't throw up any errors... If you look at the timetable itself you will notice a N? the question mark after the N indictes It has a decision attached to the the next working, one of the 2 indicated next workings will run, but the sim will not know which one until the train arrives at the station

Vince Just to help things along, the TT analyser was written before we had decisions. That means it gets indigestion in a situation like the 2P92 you describe. The analyser will probably throw a warning about an incorrect length for one of the two choices for the following working and then warnings at every step beyond that if the next working is part of a chain. It also loses track of the trains it has orphaned and produces lots of "TD already used" and "TD never runs" warnings. The 1979 Carlisle TT generates about 135 such warnings and they are nearly all the result of N actions being governed by a decision although the TT runs fine in practice. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: VInce |

And conversely, the analyser currently doesn't catch a train with two next workings and no decisions involved (so a genuine error), either.
Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: VInce |

Are you sure? This snapshot has the old version of the WARM 2016 timetable, where 2B15/$L26418 still has three next train activities, and for me with loader 4.12, the analyser doesn't show anything regarding that train (see Mantis 23556).
