Help! I can normally work any SimSig these days but I'm stumped.

I've managed to send trains into the non-wired parts of Lo Wu without difficulty, but cannot get T820 in to the through sidings. I apparently have a route set from 2540 to 2580 to LWSB6 but 2540 won't clear. The wiki says that a slot is required for all moves into the depot, but I can see no way to request or grant one.

It's the same at Ho Tung Lau. The crossing is closed and clear and ARS has set a route to HTL587. The train won't budge. I've tried granting the slot adjacent to the stop board but that doesn't help.

What am I overlooking?

So get the slot for the thorough sidings you need to grant slot S6558 (the one by the yard enterance near signal 2585} on the Lo wu Lever panel and the the shunt aspect on signal 2540 will clear

Thank you. I'd decided that that slot was purely for traffic into the spur.

I would suggest that further update removes all the levers at Lowu Marshalling Yard - It is controlled by a local control panel similar to Kowloon Yard and eventually replaced by an internal Chinese-made Computer Based Interlocking. The Traffic Controller on the main line does not have control over the Yard. It should be manned by a separate workstation and the control should be push-push similar to the main line.

ps: attached are the photo of the old LCP at Lowu Marshalling Yard.

What you can see from Gary's screen capture is the old panel of Lo Wu Marshalling Yard. The Yard has been controlling by a Chinese made CBI since 2000 era.

And yes, the yard is not a part of running line thus Traffic Controllers have no control on it.
