Having issues getting PZ03. Signalled train on to the Traverser from Hung Hom P5, moved the train to Road 7 as indicated. After locking the table and pulling off Sig 1165 the train refuses to budge and does not respond to "shunt forward unless the timetable is manually stepped ahead. After a significant wait, the train phones in and insists they are held by signal 1161 (?). 1161 Hold shows the phone call. The snapshot shows the general goings on just as the Traverser is lined in place. PZ03 rightaway shows the move signalled (to my knowledge) properly. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. The traverser must be locked at Road 7 before clearing the shunting signal on Road 7 or else the engine won't move. Not sure if it is a bug or what. Log in to reply The following users said thank you: wesley2628, alvinhochun |

I've also got this a few times when I forgot to lock the traverser in my hasty actions. I had to cancel and reset the route to get it to go normally. Notice that cancelling the route doesn't give an adverse change of signal in this case, which might also be a bug with the same underlying cause. I see, so it seems locking the Traverser is what prompts the train to recognize it has been switched.

I imagine there is a separate locking indicator, visible to the driver. Standing instructions would be that no movements onto or off (or destabilising) the traverser are permitted unless it is locked in place.

Following up with this, I'm now finding that unless you're *very prompt* about moving the traverser once the loco has moved onto it, it will complain about the exit signal for the track it *entered* on, rather than obeying the one the traverser is *currently* at, even if it is correctly locked in place. To clear this condition, my present workaround is to instruct the driver to reverse. He will immediately reverse *twice* and come up facing the correct signal. Post has attachments. Good evening, I have a problem with the Traverser. When I have to shunt PZ03 to the Traverser, I put the Traverser's frame and I lock it. So, I put the Traverser to the platform 5 but I can't put the signal at green. What I wrong?

It is several minutes before the engine is timetabled to move, but it has already called in complaining about the wrong signal being set against it. The traversers Panel needs to be unlocked. Its only locked when the Travers needs to be moved. With the Traverser at Platform 5, you need to close the North security gate, Open South security gate, then go to the Traverser Panel and pull lever 1102.
