Demonstrated at Mong Kok on... sim v1.0 SimSig v4.12 with blue lights enabled Train D109 is held at (s)1211, M107 is in the station D109 is routed into station (done manually here, but ARS does the same) and M107 is moved to the rear berth of the platform D109's ID is stepped into the forward berth of the station, overtaking M107 D109 is really held at board (s)H1213 Route is set from (s)1211 and M107 continues, but with D109's ID and D109 takes M107's ID I don't know if this happens elsewhere on the sim, but only noticed it when trying to unclog some of my traffic jam Sorry if this is a duplicate report (attached the save in which this was done - done with multiple trains in a row) Post has attachments. The train now standing on platform 2, should be on the rails Last edited: 03/07/2019 at 07:49 by rfw Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: wesley2628 |

Noticed the same thing yesterday and came to the same conclusions. So it's already been reported (issue #25779), but thanks for the detailed steps anyway.
Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: wesley2628 |

Hmm, the description shouldn't step to the rear berth when another route is set in. I'll look into this when I get a moment. Thanks for the report; we're always happy to get such detailed reports that make the problem easy to reproduce. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: wesley2628 |

My workaround is putting a general reminder on 1221 to stop ARS routing to it and an automatic route from 1221 to 1223, and nursing trains into the problem area by using reminder override. A pain in the bum but solves problems later on where ARS routes trains to the wrong platforms and you end up with a head to head The train now standing on platform 2, should be on the rails Log in to reply The following user said thank you: wesley2628 |

Also is there a place where we can view which bugs have been reported (a view only on mantis?)

This bug is still in the sim with Loader v5. I've attached three saves with which to reproduce and test, using a deliberately induced queue from blocking Beacon Hill tunnel: 054802 - Note the relative positions of M009 (in Mong Kok P2) and M011 (waiting behind it). 054820 - A few seconds later, after removing the reminder on Mong Kok starter, M009's TD has shifted backward and M011's TS has overtaken it. Upon departure, both trains will subsequently be incorrectly described. 055000 - Restarting from the 054802 save, I instead diverted M011 into P1. Following, VZ02 cannot approach the occupied platform as it doesn't have ATO, but M009's TD has shifted backward upon ARS setting the route in. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Mantis 25779 hasn't been fixed yet; it's not a loader change issue.
