I’m playing the Kings Cross May 2018 timetable and have Train 0P03 in the Kings Cross Loco sidings complaining that I have set the wrong route. Well, the route looks ok to me. (see screenshot) Anyway, I abandoned the timetable in order to get it to move and then its status in the Train List changed to ‘Wrong route – no suitable traction.’ When I checked the traction type in the F4 Timetable Editor, it says that it is Overhead AC (it's a class 91 loco). Which part of the route isn’t suitable? And if it’s the Loco sidings how did it get there in the first place? Could somebody please tell me where I have gone wrong, that's assuming that I have. You haven’t done anything wrong, it’s a issue with the modern era and it has been reported on Mantis as I found the bug myself a few months ago. It’s up to the developer to fix but course they do have other priorities such as their own life. Log in to reply |

I am quite aware that developers have their own lives to lead and I wasn't expecting an immediate fix. No doubt it will happen at some time or other. In the meantime, is there a work-around like changing the traction type? Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Log in to reply |

What really surprised me was the fact that I had encountered this problem before! Unfortunately my memory is continuing to degrade. It seems that you have to delete the train in question.
