Well, although i don't appear very often here - although i read most of what goes on - i have finally got round to putting a picture on my avvie. I am sure once a few people see it i will get loads of questions asking where it was taken. Well, i invite all suggestions in the spirit of fun only, and knowing that there is no prize, except for that warm feeling one gets when you guess somethning really difficult spot on correctly - and i will let you all know where it was taken either in a couple of weeks, or when someone gets it right :) It still astonishes me that it was well over 10 years ago - Jeez am i getting old. EDL 77 on the Down Ore with EDL 78 at the bottom of the post. Shunt signal in the bottom right is EDL 70 on the Up Ore. Or perhaps right up there on the bracket...? Definitely an interesting place to be! (Actually it was kind of remarkable, how that really does put things into perspective as of just how big those semaphone signals are for someone elsewhere and had never seen one of those up close for real, which...can be hard to realise, when photographed or illustrated alone.)
