Afternoon, Whilst drawing up a timetable, I'm trying to reverse a train at Holmes Jn into Westgate Siding (the spur into Booths scrapyard). I can't seem to find anything other than Holmes Jn as an option, no Westgate Siding? I notice it appears as an entry location, but I can't seem to send anything into it. Am I missing something, or is the ability to reverse at Holmes Jn into the siding not available on the sim at the moment? Cheers Log in to reply |

Locations required are MEADOWHALL P1-3, Wincobank Jn, and BRIGHTSIDE JN. Have fun! There's a valid path into it from the Meadowhall direction, but as discussed above a TT location to reverse at Holmes Jn isn't available at present. Morning All "Booths" as I know it raises its head again. I have two trains going into Booths. In Sheffield v1.4 S1070/213 is given as a reversing point at Holmes Jn. You can set the route into the siding from 213 (DM) or from 1069 (UM). When you try and validate you have to show Meadowhall in the Timetable to make it validate. Holmes 1070/213 is now a location point but does not seem to validate into Booths. 1. If you are travelling in the up direction you would rev behind 1069 to drop in the sisdings. 2. I have not known trains cross over from the up to rev using 1070/213 By putting Meadowhall in the schedule as attachment will the train stop and rev at 213 or 1069 or will it continue to Meadowhall (will need Platform 2). I do not want to go to Meadowhell at the best of times. Any help /advice would be gratefully received    Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

The reverse location isn't usable for trains on the mainline at present. I've re-opened JC92's Mantis 29947. "Don't stress/ relax/ let life roll off your backs./ Except for death and paying taxes/ everything in life.../ is only for now." (Avenue Q) Log in to reply |

Trains from the Sheffield dir especially loco hauled have to to Kilnhurst or even Doncaster to Run round come back and rev in so the locomotive does not get trapped in........and scapped.
