Hi everone, Im currently attempting to write a may 2020 timetable for West Yorkshire simulation. Im currently writing for the huddersfield to castleford stoppers. The train rougly areives into castleford at 0040 every hour and then departs back to huddersfield ar 0058 every hour. In the meen time i have a sheffield to leeds stopper that arrives between these times. I want to get the huddesfield train out the way before it forms the train to huddersfield. So i have created a shunt move from castleford to castleford signal CD5212 then back to castleford. However the train just wants to go the other way towards whitwood junction. I also tried to reverse the train at castleford signal 5207/5209. When i try to route the train this way it wants to go towards milford junction. When i try and tell the train to reverse the opposite direction it refuses to do this. I dont know if im doing anything wrong that somebody can point me in the right direction. Cheers. The second train drops onto the first using the call on aspect. Technically the first train stops, detains then draws forward to make space for the second before drawing back and coming into service but you can't really simulate that beyond using an FX stopping point. I can't answer the sim issues but that's the real method of operation. For a short period when the service started, I understand that they were shunting behind the GPL on the Cutsyke branch to clear the platform instead (with a schedule in the system), but that this quickly ceased because a neighbour took exception to having a unit standing outside his window for several minutes each hour and was apparently threatening traincrew with all sorts of unpleasant things. More interesting from a signalling point of view though! Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Razzabazza123 |
