Hi everyone, I've just come off the phone to Pascal - 58050 on here and said I'd update everyone. Pascal has been on dialysis for some time now while awaiting a Kidney transplant. He was admitted to hospital on Wednesday and I'm glad to say the operation was successful and he's accepted the transplant and is now recovering. He says there's basically no Internet available in the hospital hence why he hasn't put something up, but I hope you'll all join me in wishing him well and hoping he recovers swiftly and hopefully he'll be able to see it when he's back online. Thanks for letting us know Joe. I'm sure everyone will join me in asking you to give him very best wishes from all of us when you speak to him again, and we look forward to seeing his tales (and timetables) of the old days back as soon as possible!

Like Keith said, pass on all our best wishes to Pascal when you next speak to him. And something for him to read when he's recovered and able to... Pascal, really glad to hear that your op was successful and hope your road (should that be rails) to full recovery is also without problems. Thanks to all on here who left a comment on here or messages sent to jc92 who subsequently passed them onto me. I came home on WEDS 15/04/2020. I'm glad to be home with my cats mainly cos I can access the internet. Patiemnts at Addenbrookes hospital can't access the internet which is a bit of a bumer. As much as I'd like to restart tt'ing my body isn't really up to it atm after having major surgery & by the end of the day I'm going to bed alot earlier than I used to. Last night I was in bed by 22.00 instead of the usual midnight or 01.00/02.00 in the morning.

Glad to hear your op went well Pascal, and you're now recuperating at home. You produce great TT's, but we can wait for more of those, your health comes first. Take it easy Pascal, and get well soon. Good to see you back in the community (institution??? LOL) Pascal. No doubt the cats are pleased to have their staff back too; locums are regrettably impervious to wide eyes and a plaintive meow. Take your time recovering and we look forward to more of your stories (well that's what the TTs are isn't it?) when you're fully back to rights. Yes Keith your right the cats seem to be happy I'm back cos when the lady I paid to look after them whilst in hospital said to me she only ever used to see tails dissapear under the bed. With reds to timetabling I've been working over the past 6 months on another big timetable for a sim under development. Obviously I can't say anything about it as it hasn't been released yet. I can only say it based on 1988 & I've used all the usual piffle to do it such as WTTs, station working books, Trip Ntices & actual 1988 loco diagrams. It will be an exetremly challenging timetable to run as I'm about half way through & it has around 850 - 900 trains at this point. As I used to work on it 3 times a week when I was on dialysis. Now that I don't need to have dialysis following this kidney transplant I'll resume the TT work when my energy levels get better. 'Btitish Rail regrets any inconbienience caused to users.The cats aren't inconvienienced as they come first.

As for cats they are usually always pleased to see their humans: I used to feed my neighbour's cats 10+ years ago when they went away on holiday and one of them in particular was always delighted to see me. As to cats, they can be funny creatures because where I lived at the time had a cat that hated being picked up but would be more then happy to use you as a pillow! I haven't been playing the game very long but 58050's timetables have quickly become some of my favorites because they represent my favorite era (80's/90's), they are challenging, and they contain so much information (like the pool codes).
