Long routes / route stacking 28/04/2020 at 09:19 #126390

Hi

In the wiki for this sim, it mentions long routes and route stacking. For long routes, it says when an entrance signal is selected, numerous available exit signals will flash. That doesn't happen on my panel.

When I attempted route stacking, I either get a 'Cannot over set a different route' or 'points locked in route'

Any ideas or was this functionality discontinued in up-revved release?

They don't flash, they'll be highlighted in purple.

Thanks JC. Is this an option selected when starting the Sim as I'm not seeing any purple - it is only letting me set routes entry / exit signal to signal.

Edit: Didn't read the title of the board where this thread was posted. Doh!

Gday Jriver

The current version of Moss Vale available to the public isn't fully complete, and was released as somewhat of a preview of the full thing at a discounted price.

We were hoping to have the sim fully available last year, but that wasn't achieved for various reasons. Unfortunately some features aren't fully implemented in the current version and will be fixed in the full version.

When the full version is available, I'm hoping this will fix your problem. Hope you are enjoying running trains through our Australian sim!

You need to swing the points, Leaver frames>Goulburn Down Yard

It's probably in the manual (but we all know the manual is for sissies)

Hi Airvan

I tried that but the train sits at that position light at Blacksham road even though it is showing proceed. Will get a screen grab next time it happens.

I haven’t had a problem entering the down yard with any train. If the points a correctly set, if you select “ abandon timetable” does it move off and enter the yard?
