PEOPLE OF SIMSIG!!!!!!!!!! Following the extremely successful 24 hour "Mega Chain" in lieu of the Peterborough Meet, and the later "Lockdown full shift host", and the "Manchester May Day Mega chain" , the team have made arrangements to put on another mega chain game. Giving us up to 20 potential panels this is another diverse chain, encompassing a mixture of the East Coast Mainline, the Transpennine Network, and various local services throughout the North East. Commencing 10:00 on the 23/05/2020 we will set off on an 8-10 hour session, encompassing the back half of the night shift, and the start of the early shift. The following sims will be in use:- Tyneside York North / South Leeds East / West Leeds North West Leeds Ardsley West Yorkshire Sheffield Please note - all simulations subject to change slightly - Sims now confirmed 13/05/2020 as the above list. Timetable Refreshed 2009 TT; Starting 0445 with posessions and then we plan to follow a number of planned scenarios which will be randomlly selected from the wheel of randomness including but not limited to SPAD incident, fire alarm, broken rail, ESR, Cows on the line <<TradeMark - Wheel of Randomness is based on the game "what aspect will I see next on an austalian sim" where randomness is certainly guaranteed..>> How to sign up We have split the session down into two hour chunks available in the upcoming games window, please use these to sign up for the times at which you can commit to the full two hours. This will allows us to staff the sims as appropriate. In Game Communication Will be via TeamSpeak, you don't need access to a microphone, or to speakers, but both of these would help if you have them. Panel Allocations We will issue a spreadsheeet of panel allocations prior to the start of the session, which will be updated as we continue. Hosts We have made special arrangements to provide continuous hosting throughout the period. We don't at the moment need any further volunteers. The Roster Is now available at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LnJ5Yftz1MXcmgwppqJygZ-cX4gn7AMjFW3qHqCr0i4/edit?usp=sharing ** If you can not turn up please try to let us know so we can re-allocate you panel ** Should you fail to turn up for a session start time we will reallocate your panel; for future sessions in this game you will be marked as provisional where you will be on standby for a panel. My home turf with a mega chain... great news. I have Tyneside, York, West Yorkshire, Leeds E/W and Sheffield. I’ve signed up for 10:00 14:15 18:30. I’d love to have a signalling session on York, Leeds or Newcastle stations. Many thanks again for the efforts to get this up and running. Log in to reply |

The Sheffield 2009 timetable isn't (yet) publicly available for the ROC version.

The draft roster is now available in the opening post, and the games listings. We still have space in some of the session for people to sign up to.

I have been rostered for a sim I don't have in the second session. I only have Leeds Ardsley and Leeds Northwest. Also disappointed to see I have 2 sessions on Ardsley rather than a couple of different panels on Northwest

A quick suggestion, would it be possible to swap Super Dogbox and RyanHills round so they both get a session on Leeds Ardsley and Northwest and they can have a change of scenery?

Also disappointed to see I have 2 sessions on Ardsley rather than a couple of different panels on NorthwestI must have looked at the wrong line when I allocated the first 2 sessions. Roster has been updated and you've been swapped onto Leeds NW for the first session. However, I don't have anywhere that you have a licence for the second session. Both Leeds Ardsley and Leeds Northwest only have 1 panel for the entire sim and so they only have 1 person assigned per session. Also there are several signallers who only have a licence for 1 simulation, RyanHills being an example. The roster is a case of trying to let the most amount of people join, while also tying to mix people up on which sim they are playing on. When 2 people only have a licences for Sim A, and then a third person has a licences for Sim A and Sim B, it unfortunately becomes a case of that third person is unlikely to be able to go on Sim A. As a rule, I always try and allocate signallers to a different sim for every session. When this isn't possible I will try and allocate them so they aren't working the same panel a second time. This is very hard to do when multiple people only have a licence for sims which only have a single panel. As with all previous multiplayer sessions, the more sims that you have a licence for, the higher the chance of getting a panel for every session you have joined Log in to reply |

A lot of time has been taken to proportionately distribute panels to everyone who has signed up and accommodate those who don't have other sims.
