Playing the Covid 19 timetable and have noticed that 5B14 (1B14) uses Aberdeen platform 5 (arrives 0559 and departs 0707), meanwhile 5E11 comes from the HST sidings to form 1E11 also platform 5 arriving 0645 to leave at 0742.

This can't be done as even if they could both fit in the platform 1B14 would surely then be blocked in!

Perhaps 1E11 is in a COVID-19 TT in error as LNER stopped running North of Edinburgh early in the piece.

Thanks for your reply!

I did wonder that. It's also odd as it's listed as a 5 car Class 800/2 which isn't what would usually be on that, but perhaps they ran the smaller train for a short while.

As a general note, the real-life schedules sometimes have platform conflicts in them, which some TT authors choose to leave in for authenticity and to provide an additional challenge. The player has to work around them, as the real signaller would do. According to the notes in the download area ( https://www.SimSig.co.uk/File/Details/2366 ), which I assume are also in the timetable description, the TT writer is aware of the conflicts and deliberately left them in.

There is also a typo in 1A51's TT, it showing 1 hour earlier than it should be at Greenloaning. No big deal but worth reporting for any future editions!

Very minor typo: 2L91 and 1T30 have Abroath with a missing R in their description.

Remember the double track only starts just after the 2 tunnels, north of Aberdeen Station. There are probably additional signals also.

I'll fix these asap, and yeah as said earlier the platform conflicts at Aberdeen are there as IRL the signaller would work around them! (there may be the odd mistake) but most conflicts are there for a purpose!

Thanks @elltrain3! I just came across the Aberdeen platform clash with the LNER service and thought it was an 'odd clash' - sounds like a contradiction I know!!

We've found there is only 1 5L62 shunt move (1652 from Arbroath) but 2 1L62 return trips (1103 and 1709 from Arbroath), so on arrival at Arbroath at approx 1050 the train thinks it needs to wait until 1652 before going into the sidings.
