Hi, I had decided to revisit the Victoria Line again as been a while, it was going ok with only needing to re-describe the trains in Brixton. But when the services started a few of them just became Non-ARS so had to make them ARS again and the other problem was that when a train had terminated at either Brixton or Walthamstow Central it didn't show it but be Non-ARS as when it was departure time the ARS wouldn't set the route. I do sometimes take over some of the ARS areas but I hadn't when all this happened. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You. Log in to reply |

Also experiencing ARS issues in Victoria. V212 departed Seven Sisters P5 towards Finsbury Park and I got the "routed off planned path" message. Same again happened for V205 from Walthamstow Central P1: I've attached a save file from just before V212 leaves Seven Sisters. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. I've seen this in other sims where the visible TD does not change. Both f2 and the timetable pop-up show the correct details and if click 'i' then 'OK' that fixes the problem (refreshes the TD). As the sim is several years old and this was not previously a problem that I can recall I suspect something's changed in core code. I'm sure this has been reported but can't immediately find it on Mantis. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Sorry Peter, I just realised that that's what you meant. Er. What he said ^^ I don't know if this is relevant but I assume that it might be. LUL trains don't have headcodes as such, they have 3 digit (octal) train numbers that they run around on all day, like train 205. Train 205 might make a dozen trips each day, but its reporting number remains constant. SimSig handles this by suffixing the headcode with the trip number V205-1, V205-2, V205-3, etc. That may be to blame because you also see this with weedkillers. I know I was playing Marylebone recently and the 3J04 RHTT that also runs around on a constant headcode, with each trip changing the suffix -- 3J04-CA5 becomes 3J05-CA6 becomes ... -- has the same problem. Every time it starts away after reversing it becomes non-ARS. You can just make the train ARS again and it's all fine. Last edited: 15/07/2020 at 19:47 by TUT Reason: None given Log in to reply |
