After getting familiar with Royston I am wandering if the members agree on which Sim to try next?

Take a look at this page: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:areainfo I'd recommend trying something else from the 'Beginner' category. Give Peterborough a go, pretty straightforward.

To start with when you run the sim, if you go into 'Options' via F3 and then 'Failures' and set all the sliders to the left you should find either sim quite manageable. Also, as Dick says, Peterborough is a good one as long as you don't disable to many of the ARS areas to start with. Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Oxted or Lancing are very good beginner Sims to move on from Royston.
