Having spent the majority of the past couple of months stuck at work watching the real thing, I don't think this is for me, and I'm certainly not missing London.

I can see the appeal though, and am concerned that in the animation one of my lines looks a little empty - which is the main reason why I should not buy such a thing as I'd be forever checking it!

Wonder how accurate it is. I emailed Peter Hicks some time ago about an OpenTrainTimes map of the underground and he indicated that at that time what data was available was not very reliable.

From the video demo on the site, it does appear to only show trains which are in stations and not between them; Causing each train to disappear then reappear on reaching the next station repeatedly and therefore be missing from the diagram most the time. So it's perhaps not very useful for the purpose of actually following trains, but still good for the sake of having some flashing lights?

Peter
I have seen a handful of websites which have tried to use the data, and agree it does not seem to be as complete and accurate as that given by the National network - but this fits with LU's historical reluctance not to release too much into the public domain.
