It may well be that your license is already transferred. Both Edinburghs tell me that I have a license - apparently the v3 sims don't notice that the license was converted and just keep working. (The old one that I have installed is v3.238.2.) In any case, the Loader should guide you through the process, after which you should see Edinburgh with a green traffic light in front in the list of sims in the Loader. If that's not the case and clicking 'check for updates' doesn't help, feel free to report back. AJP in games Last edited: 18/11/2020 at 00:38 by Albert Reason: None given Log in to reply |

I am on version 5.8 of the loader but there has been no mention of licenses in any updates I have carried out.

MisterH in post 134088 said:Can I manually update the license? From what Geoff has said, they're already updated. You should be able to open the Loader, select the Edinburgh simulation and start playing. When you start the Loader, ensure you're logged in and have checked for updates. MisterH in post 134088 said:Can I manually update the license? When you open the loader, there is a username and password box on the main screen which you need to fill in to login to access your licenses. Once you have done this you get a green tick next to it. Once that's been done you should have a green signal next to Edinburgh in your sim list. I've checked the database and you've already migrated your license to V5, so you should be good to go. If your still having a problem, let us know exactly what you are seeing.
