Trying out Moss Vale. Just got the messages:

Points P1120A swinging overlap timer expired.
Points P1120B swinging overlap timer expired.

Don't see anything in the manual regarding overlaps.

What the meaning of the message?

Thanks,
Tim.

Did the points fail? That would trigger the message.

Basically there is a timer (per real life) that allows points in an overlap to be undetected while they swing to a new position. If those points fail to re-detect within that time period then you get that message and the protecting signal will return to stop.

That given said of points do it everytime they're called.

That is news to me... Yes, it looks like the developer put a custom swing time in for one end (but not the other!) which exceeds the swinging overlap timeout. I'll get it fixed.

I’ve noticed that it’s also possible to get this message by swinging other points back and forth within an overlap without letting them settle and prove, but presumably that’s realistic.

I believe so, yes, but I will check as things can be a bit... upside down... in Australia (joking).
