I've been trying to download the Loader v5.3 via the Check for Updates screen, but it always displays: Getting update manifest... Parsing manifest... Installing/updating: C:\Program Files (x86)\SimSig\SimSigLoader.exe Failed consistency checks (downloaded $822259d0; should be $6643aab2) Update complete with no errors. Press Close to exit. The Make selected changes button is greyed out, and when I press Close and continue, the Loader is still in version 4.15.1. What am I doing wrong please? Turn my head with talk of summertime... I would recommend downloading the system files from https://www.SimSig.co.uk/File/Details/852 install them (No need to uninstall first), that will give you version 5. Then hit check for updates and hopefully you'll be good to go.

This has been known to cause problems with permissions on some systems and is why the default location is not C:\Program Files (x86)\ which would seem to be the obvious choice. For example see this thread from earlier today. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: mallard82 |
