Any chance of a sim of Colchester PSB during the 2005 era while it was still a true panel box and not VDU work stations. Mainly of the Norwich panel which as far as I know covers Norwich Thorpe to Whitlingham Jcn, Norwich Thorpe to near Wymondham, then Norwich Thorpe to Ipswich/Manningtree (including Haughly Jcn and East Suffolk Jcn - Westerfield). Hopefully others will like this idea. Cheers Mike Log in to reply |

I second this idea. A SimSig simulation of another part (we already have the excellent Liverpool Street) of the GEML (Great Eastern Main Line) would be good. Plus as far as I know, Colchester gets a lot of freight action too so adds to the fun.

Thanks for that UKTrainMan. Your right about the freight. With them covering Haughley Junction and the Felixstowe Branch there is plenty of Freight workings along with many ECS and LE movements from both Ipswich Carriage/Loco sidings and Norwich Crown Point. Ta Mike Log in to reply |

Well yeah, Colchester deals with all of the Felixstowe traffic. Also, Ipswich is controlled by Colchester PSB, so would deal with the traffic through that area (would involve a lot of freight). Also, a lot of commuter and express trains on the Great Eastern, and the possibility of an extenstion to Norwich (correct me if im wrong :/) then it would be immense! This topic was last discussed in January, Sam, and I've noticed you've dug up topics from March similarly.

I'd rather these was dug up and continued than started all over again. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |
