Is there a firewall blocking it on your computer?

In addition to Steve's question, Which operating system are you using?

Edwards in post 132732 said:V 5.6 LoaderFor reference there are three states: - Could not communicate with server - Invalid username/password - Logged in ok The first state means it couldn't even talk to the server (ie your case). The 2nd and 3rd are valid states from the server. I'm guessing you're browsing this from the same device. If so, then maybe the firewall isn't allowing connections from SimSigLoader.exe. Hi Geoff I am using Win 10 and Comodo Firewall etc. When I was running the SimSig exe , I allowed Comodo to run all aspects. Should I disable the Comodo and run the exe again, or is it a setting in the Firewall. BTW All SimSigs run from a folder in Public Documents. Thanks Last edited: 28/09/2020 at 08:00 by Edwards Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Hi Geoff In view of your previous post, I have disabled the Firewall completely and now I have access to the server. It appears I will need to do this every time I run SimSig. Many thanks for your help. Log in to reply |

Don't disable your firewall. There should be a way to allow an exception, letting SimSigLoader.exe through.

Thanks Geoff. I had to go into the Firewall logs and remove all the previous multiple quarantined records and mark the current ones as "trusted". After running the loader and accepting all the challenges, I finally have a fully working Firewall and SimSig. Nightmare over ! Log in to reply The following user said thank you: GeoffM |
