I am pleased to announce that after a long period of work, my series of Rugby December 2018 timetables have been released. This comprises of a timetable for each of the three Rugby SCC sims, all of which are chainable. Enjoy! :) Rugby SCC December 2018 by Jamie S. (GW43125) This timetable is intended to represent the period from December 2018-May 2019, just before the change of May 2019 which saw services joined at Birmingham New Street and the London-Crewe via Trent Valley services cease to run via Stoke. These timetables come with seed groups at 4am and 6am, to take away the tedium of the overnight freight. All three timetables are chainable, and have been tested as such. North timetable pattern (tph/d=trains per hour/day): West Midlands Trains/London Northwestern Railway (referred to as LM) -1tph (roughly, with some gaps) Coventry<->Nuneaton, operated with a single class 153 -1tph London-Crewe calling all stations via Nuneaton, Stafford and Stoke, operated with a single class 350 Virgin Trains -3tph London-Manchester, two via Stoke and one via Crewe, operated with class 390s -1tph London-Chester (some extended to Wrexham or Holyhead), operated with single or pairs of class 221s -1tph London-Glasgow (first stop Warrington), with class 390s -1tph London-Liverpool (first stop Crewe), with class 390s -4tpd London-Blackpool, with either class 221s or class 390s Some additional trains run in the peaks, with varying calling patterns. No Virgin trains services stop within the sim for most of the day; however Nuneaton, Tamworth and Lichfield see calls during the peaks, early in the morning and late at night. Some empty class 221s run via Alrewas from the north to access the depot at Barton-under-Needwood (near Burton-on-Trent). CrossCountry (these use platforms 6 and 7 at Nuneaton and all use class 170s) -1tph Birmingham New St-Stansted Airport, calling at Nuneaton -1tph Birmingham New St-Leicester, calling all stations Some empty class 220 and 221s run via Alrewas from the north to access the depot at Barton-under-Needwood (near Burton-on-Trent). Centre timetable pattern: West Midlands Trains/London Northwestern Railway -1tph London-Crewe running via Weedon, calling at Milton Keynes, Rugby, Nuneaton then all stations, with a single class 350. -3tph London-Birmingham via Northampton, formed of varying lengths of class 350s, of which: -one (1Wnn) calls Watford, Milton Keynes, then all stations, crossing over at Milton Keynes or Hanslope Jn -one (1Ynn) crosses over at Ledburn Jn, first stop Leighton Buzzard, then all stations -one (2Ynn) runs slow line all the way from Euston. Some of these 2Yxx may require a change at Northampton. -In the peaks, there are some extra services to/from Northampton and some Crewe services run via Northampton. At all times of day, services may detach a unit at Northampton, to either shunt or go to the depot. Virgin Trains -3tph London-Birmingham, with one extended northwards to Scotland (cut back to Preston or Lancaster in the evening), operated with either class 221s or class 390s. These alternate between calls at Rugby, Milton Keynes and Watford Jn -3tph London-Manchester, two via Stoke (one of which calls at Milton Keynes) and one via Crewe, operated with class 390s. -1tph London-Chester (some extended to Wrexham or Holyhead) calling at Milton Keynes, operated with single or pairs of class 221s -1tph London-Glasgow (first stop Warrington), with class 390s -1tph London-Liverpool (first stop Crewe), with class 390s -4tpd London-Blackpool, with either class 221s or class 390s Some additional trains run in the peaks, with varying calling patterns. The frequencies reduce in the late evening, with calling patterns changing appropriately. During the peak periods, the first 29 arrivals into Euston carry 1Rnn headcodes rather than their usual 1Ann or 1Bnn. These trains are numbered sequentially from 1R00 to 1R28 and these should be in the correct order leaving Rugby. The only exception being 1R03, as this runs via Northampton so should be slotted in at Hanslope Jn. Each 1Rnn has a different calling pattern, so be careful! South timetable pattern: Virgin trains as on Centre West Midlands Trains/London Northwestern Railway As on Centre, but with the addition of -2tph London-Milton Keynes, calling at Watford, Hemel Hempstead then all stations -2tph London-Tring, calling at all stations As ever, there are some peak extras and alterations of stopping patterns during the peaks, early morning and late evening. Some extra stoppers also run starting at Bletchley, and class 319s make appearances on key commuter services. Govia Thameslink Railway (Southern) -1tph East Croydon-Milton Keynes with 8 car dual voltage class 377s, calling at Watford, Hemel Hempstead then all stations except Cheddington. Various freight services of various types run to different destinations throughout the day; freight is taken from the working timetable and formations are taken from sightings or videos, where these are not available, generic timing loads are used. Freight workings may not reflect what actually ran on the day due to lack of data, thus all freights in the working timetable have been added, except where there are duplicate paths. Please note that ARS does NOT route the four trains which have 6Xnn headcodes Timing Loads, what do they mean? For passenger stock, the timing load is simple, they are in the format class/length, thus a train marked 170/4 is formed of a 4car class 170. For freight, if the actual type is shown, this simply means the given locomotive and wagons. A "D" after the locomotive class indicates a double header, eg Cl.68D. "TnT" denotes "top-and-tail", a locomotive on either end. The generic timing loads are given in the format speed|restrictions|class|single or double|trailing weight x100 tonnes|-length in SLU (1 SLU=21ft=6.40m). E.G: 75C86D16-81 indicates a 75mph container train, with a pair of class 86s hauling 1600 tonnes, and being 81SLU long (1,701ft=518m). Stock data has been taken from TRUST reports and from Carriage Working Notices when available, these are taken from the UKModernEMU group, currently hosted on groups.io. Timings have been taken from sections CB02, CB03, CB07, CY05, CY16, CY17 and CY18 of the Working Timetable. This timetable would not be possible without the help of everyone who has provided data and assisted in the bug tracking and resolution. Please see the individual simulations for a list of known issues. These timetables have been tested to the best of my ability, including with chaining, however some errors may still slip through. Should you find such an error, or indeed have any queries or feedback (positive or negative!), please contact me either by replying to this thread, or via private message; and I will attempt to fix it as soon as feasibly possible. One note I will add, however, is that sometimes when chained, some trains may enter non-ARS. This can usually be fixed by simply clicking "make train ARS". Lastly, I hope this timetable gives you as much joy and frustration as I got from working on it, happy signalling! If I recall that headcode well, it's the TPE MKV stock on mileage accumulation runs. They have a DVT type coach in the formation, so no run round necessary.
