I have decided to buy myself at least one new sim this Christmas. I have at least 9 sims in a list and I intend to buy all of them eventually, but the question is, will there be a new sim release?

I know that the stock answer will be 'wait and see' but the suspense doing my head in

I hope for nothing, so am always happy when something is released. Let’s just wait and see

As for Three Bridges, it can be a bit manic, but remember it has ARS too. You just need to keep an eye on the sidings and depots at Selhurst and Lovers Walk. Would recommend - busy even when all running well!

I'm sure that others will advise you about how difficult it is, but I bought it and play a Sunday timetable which I find quite manageable. You can leave ARS on in most areas and turn it off as you get used to things.

And mine also. Not only would it be great fun to have something new to play on (isn't it always?) but it would quite probably alter the whole Xmas game schedule.

But, to quote Manuel from "Fawlty Towers", I know nothing. As you say, we must wait and see.

I'm sure you're actually quoting the wrong person there Dave, Sergeant Hans Schultz of Stalag 13 is the much better and well known as saying "I know nothing, NOTHING!"

Sergeant Hans Schultz was of course the character played by John Banner in Hogan's Heroes.

Just thought I better correct you that's all!

Fawlty Towers, Season 2, Episode 1. Basil has won some money on a horse and instructs Manuel not to tell anyone. Then the circumstances change and Basil is desperate to explain where he got the money. However, Manuel remembers his instructions and keeps on saying "I know nothing". Script on line at https://subslikescript.com/series/Fawlty_Towers-72500/season-2/episode-1-Communication_Problems.

Can I just point out the rather amusing way that a thread about SimSig has turned into a thread about Faulty Towers? xD

Communication Problems is a good Fawlty Towers episode. If I remember, that's the one that has a hotel guest with a hearing aid that she never turns on. "No madam, the radio works...you don't!". I got the boxset, will have to dig around and watch it again. All the episodes are good.

Back to SimSig though, I know I'm going to be getting Cardiff next. I usually buy 2 at the same time to take advantage of the Multibuy. I haven't decided what the second one will be yet.

Lets just cut to the chase and ask SimSig if they are going to be Santa this Christmas with a nice new Sim all wrapped up in Tinsel. The long awaited Preston would be lovely.

Bit of research indicates that Sergeant Hans Schultz of Stalag 13 did have the catchphrase "I know nothing, NOTHING!"

Bit of triva - I had a teacher who was known as Klink (looked a bit like him) - he ran the school model railway club and transport society; one of our trips was to the Tyne and Wear Metro's Gosforth depot in the late 70s.
