Yes. I find this quite useful. I can also say the say the same after discovering the Overview. Saves scrolling

Not a major issue, more a minor inconvenience: I've noticed that since I updated to V5.12 that the sim window seems to lose focus, which means that the shortcut keys don't work until I click on the sim window again. It's possible that this isn't as SinSig issue, but it only seemed to start happening after I updated to Loader V5.12. Log in to reply |

I've noticed this as well since updating the loader, can be quite annoying at times

That has been a bug for me for a lot longer, basically since I started playing SimSig. Keybinds only work if focused on the main window.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I had an idea for a possible future development with the loader. It would be really great if there was a button for quickly loading the last saved game. (Of course, that would require some work on the back-end for keeping track of what the last save was).

With regards to keybindings only working in the main window, this is something I've had for a while... It's not been a major annoyance, but it can be irritating when you're looking at a timetable, then press "I" to interpose a new headcode as a result of that timetable

The first is the Show Timetable window stealing the focus away from the main window: agreed this is wrong and I believe this is fixed in the forthcoming release. But what this post seems to imply is that with the Show Timetable window focused (whether intentionally or not), that keys like "I" will work, or scrolling or whatever. I do not believe keybindings for the main window should work if the Show Timetable window (or most others) is the one in focus. Can you explain which you mean please? SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

For me, something I've noticed (it's happened before and then gone away) is that if I click on a headcode and bring up the timetable window, if I then deliberately close that window I need to click back on the main window to do anything through the keyboard, scrolling, using hotkeys, anything. That's my description of something I've encountered anyway, but then I am using Wine. For God knows how long whenever I've opened up SimSig, I've clicked and then unclicked 'stay on top' and that used to be a good trick for avoiding problems like this, but it's not currently working.
