Hi all,

Just a bit of a post from me to say a thank you to the SimSig community, this year especially.

It's been a hard year for many of us due to COVID and SimSig has been a nice and welcome refuge from it at times - the hours do, at times, just fly by.

From new sims being released, new timetables being produced and the big chains and hosts held during the first lockdown between March and the summer by Karl, Alan and Nathan, along with no doubt many others, on a variety of sims with all sorts of realistic incidents chucked in were great fun.

Here's to 2021 with more great sims being released - whenever they are ready and whatever they are - and hopefully a more COVID-free time... at some point.

Wishing everyone a safe and peaceful Christmas / holiday time and New Year.

Cheers,
Joe

Agreed.

Other than working from home, attending team meetings in pyjamas etc, the remote meets were probably the great thing to come out of 2020 and I hope now the bar is set and a broad template is available these can continue, even post covid.

It was great to see a massive turnout of people where geography didn't prevent everyone attending. That said, I do miss a pint and face to face chat.

A very Merry Christmas to all.

Agreed, I loved the North Wales/NW England remote meet (even if I did have to wake up at 4am). Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks from me as well. I'm not that active a lot of the time, due largely to work (and have had computer problems - still unresolved - so not a lot of solo simming either). But the conversations on here have invariably been enjoyable and often very refreshing, and the contribution of the 'workers' (Geoff, Clive, devs, TT writers, numerous -often anonymous - testers) continues to be outstanding.

Here's to a better 2021, and perhaps the chance to meet up in person again.

Well said Joe. Completely agree with everything you say and I'd like to say Thank You to the team too. Haven't had much time to login lately. I always work more in the run up to Christmas, but SimSig has been a godsend for me, especially this year. Thanks to everyone who makes it possible.

Nadolig Llawen everyone - Merry Christmas and stay safe.

Agreed Here, Here Simsig has been a welcome break from the boredom of these lockdowns, and a great way to just spend a few hours a week chatting to people.
The Chains were ace and long may they continue!

I've also had many people thank me for my chains, and in addition to all those at SimSig I'm glad I can be of service I just do them to have some fun and do what I love to do, and that fact that brings people joy in these times, is an incredible feeling so thank you to all those at SimSig who make and test these sims, they have made a lot of people's years pass that little bit quicker

Happy Christmas All!

Not forgetting that it doesn't have to be a chain to be an enjoyable game!

Thanks to all at SimSig for releasing the additional sims this year, and to the SimSig community in general. It's been a pleasure to do some timetable testing for people and finally a big thanks to the regular people who join my series of multiplayer games.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
